① Dry Cleaning

A: いらっしゃいませ。
Irasshaimase.
A: Welcome.

B: すみません。これクリーニングお願いします。
Sumimasen. Kore kurīningu onegaishimasu.
B: Excuse me. I’d like to have these cleaned.

A: はい。えーと、ワイシャツ3枚とズボン1本ですね。
Hai. Ēto, wai shatsu san-mai to zubon ippon desu ne.
A: Sure. That’s three dress shirts and one pair of trousers.

② Haircut

A: 今日、どうなさいますか？
Kyō, dō nasaimasu ka?
A: What would you like to do today?

B: カットをお願いします。
Katto o onegaishimasu.
B: I’d like a haircut, please.

A: かしこまりました。
Kashikomarimashita.
A: Certainly.

B: あのー、この写真の髪型みたいにできますか？
Ano, kono shashin no kamigata mitai ni dekimasu ka?
B: Um, can you do it like this hairstyle in the picture?

③ Airmail

A: これ、エアメールでお願いしたいんですけど。
Kore, eāmēru de onegai shitain desu kedo.
A: I’d like to send this by airmail.

B: はい。えーと、イタリアですから110円ですね。
Hai. Ēto, Itaria desu kara hyaku-jū en desu ne.
B: Sure. It’s 110 yen to Italy.

A: どのくらいで着きますか？

A: How long will it take to arrive?

B: 一週間くらいでしょうかねー。

A: Can these shoes be repaired?

B: ええ、大丈夫ですよ。明日まででいいですか？

B: Yes, they can. Will tomorrow be okay?

A: 出来れば、今日がいいんですけど。
