① Rice Delivery

A: すみません、こちらではお米、配達してもらえますか？
Sumimasen, kochira de wa okome, haitatsu shite moraemasu ka?
A: Excuse me, do you deliver rice here?

B: はい、5キロから配達します。
Hai, go-kiro kara haitatsu shimasu.
B: Yes, we deliver from 5 kilograms and up.

A: じゃ、お願いします。
Ja, onegaishimasu.
A: Then, please deliver for me.

② Healthy Food

A: 低カロリーで健康にいい食べ物って何なんでしょうか？
Tei karorī de kenkō ni ii tabemono tte nan nan deshō ka?
A: What foods are low-calorie and good for health?

B: そうですね～、こんにゃくとか豆腐とか…。
Sō desu ne~, konnyaku toka tōfu toka…

B: Sure, I understand.

A: あのー、出来ればこの写真みたいにしてください。

A: Um, if possible, please make it like this photo.

⑨ Cake Class

A: ケーキ教室に申し込みたいんです。

A: I’d like to sign up for a cake-making class.

B: え～、すごい！でも、どうして。
E~, sugoi! Demo, dōshite.
B: Wow, that’s great! But why?

A: 日本語も覚えられるし、ケーキ作りも上手になるからです。
Nihongo mo oboerareru shi, kēki-zukuri mo jōzu ni naru kara desu.
A: Because I can learn Japanese and become good at making cakes.

B: それは、一石二鳥ってことですね。

B: 一つのことをしたら、二つ何かいいことがあるってことですよ。

B: It means when you do one thing, you get two benefits.
